Thankful Thursday

Today is the first Thursday of November. The first Thankful Thursday. I have so many things to he thankful for this year, but this one in particular begins the series of Thankful Thursdays until Thanksgiving.

I want to thank YOU. My fans, followers, friends, and family who are my biggest supporters. Thank YOU for all you do, the dedication to help put my name out there, scheduling photo sessions, etc. You guys ROCK!

I’m making this a double Thankful Thursday. I’m also thankful for HUGE changes in my business (and life for that matter).

And by huge, I mean going from this….

To this….

Yup. This girl is changing her photography name. With divorce comes change, and change means changing my name back to my maiden name. Being that my photography business included my married name, I have decided it’s time for a change. BIG change.

With this change comes different options, packages, etc. New Facebook fan page! Everything new! So in December I will be putting together my Facebook fan page so I will need your help in getting everyone to like it and become fans! Starting in January new pricing will go into effect (think affordable!!!) and February the website will be relaunched with the new name.

I know! Big changes right?! I love it!!!!

One Year Ago…

Dear Duncan,

Seriously baby. Where did the 1st year of your life go? I remember this time last year I was in labor with you. You were born at 9:56 pm. It was a lot easier to give birth to you thank you brother, but I chalk that up to you having a normal size head.

What can I say about this past year? It’s been crazy to say the least. But man oh man have you brought all this joy, love, laughter and just plain happiness in my life. I’ll be forever grateful for you entering into my life. You have become the 2nd greatest love of my life next to your brother. You manage to put a smile on my face when I have tears streaming out of my eyes (you know how to “hit” those tears away!), 90% of the time when you wake up screaming “MA!” and as I roll over see that big ol’ toothy grin of yours with your ever so awesome dimples just screaming at me to pick you up and snuggle.

Last night when you awoke at midnight – I was so excited to be the first to wish you a happy birthday even though you were totally out of it and half asleep. It melted my heart as you snuggled into me.

I love you Roo. Until the end of time. I will love you to the Moon and back, wrap around the sun and clear over to Neptune. You and your brother are the only two men in my life and I’m such a lucky girl.

I met up with Shannon and her three ADORABLE kiddos on a gorgeous Saturday morning. Little did I know Jillian had just thrown up in the car, Grant wasn’t so sure about taking photos, and Bree just looked at me like I had 3 heads. However? Pure magic was created. All personalities came through and I had so much fun!! They are seriously the cutest!!!
