Week 16 Emotion

This one was very tough on me. Not because I couldn’t find emotion, but because I wanted to make that emotion truly felt in my photo. I think I nailed it.

Happy 80th Birthday Grandpa. This image doesn’t show how sad you are, but how blessed you are with a family and friends that always love you. You are an amazing man and I’m so thankful that God gave me to you as your granddaughter. You are a huge support and amazing mentor in my life. I would be lost without you.

Thankful Thursday

Today is the first Thursday of November. The first Thankful Thursday. I have so many things to he thankful for this year, but this one in particular begins the series of Thankful Thursdays until Thanksgiving.

I want to thank YOU. My fans, followers, friends, and family who are my biggest supporters. Thank YOU for all you do, the dedication to help put my name out there, scheduling photo sessions, etc. You guys ROCK!

I’m making this a double Thankful Thursday. I’m also thankful for HUGE changes in my business (and life for that matter).

And by huge, I mean going from this….

To this….

Yup. This girl is changing her photography name. With divorce comes change, and change means changing my name back to my maiden name. Being that my photography business included my married name, I have decided it’s time for a change. BIG change.

With this change comes different options, packages, etc. New Facebook fan page! Everything new! So in December I will be putting together my Facebook fan page so I will need your help in getting everyone to like it and become fans! Starting in January new pricing will go into effect (think affordable!!!) and February the website will be relaunched with the new name.

I know! Big changes right?! I love it!!!!

I have been totally looking forward to this session for a while now. You see – Rene is my good friend Renee’s sitter. She watches her gorgeous girls while Renee bakes amazing goodies in her bake shop. Well as a thank you for being so awesome – Renee purchased a gift certificate from me as a thank you for being well – awesome! Birthdays Birthdays Birthdays!!!

As I finish up on Kassidie and Jeremy’s wedding, I wanted to take some time and post my boys birthday parties!! Being that this year they celebrated milestone birthdays (But really – ALL birthdays are milestones!) – I opted to have 2 separate parties for each special little guy.

1st up. Duncan. On August 9th, he got to play center of attention to my close friends and family. I should note that my amazingly awesome brother Jarrod played photographer during the cake and present time for D’s birthday. He must have gotten his eye for photography from mom too! So here are a few of my favorites from that evening…

Onto Caeden’s special 5th birthday. This kiddo had 2 parties. Count’em 2. The morning party consisted of a few family members that couldn’t make it to the evening festivities, friends from his old daycares and some pretty awesome cousins. Needless to say they had a blast!
