Thankful Thursday

Today is the first Thursday of November.  The first Thankful Thursday.  I have so many things to he thankful for this year, but this one in particular begins the series of Thankful Thursdays until Thanksgiving.

I want to thank YOU.  My fans, followers, friends, and family who are my biggest supporters.  Thank YOU for all you do, the dedication to help put my name out there, scheduling photo sessions, etc.  You guys ROCK!

I’m making this a double Thankful Thursday.  I’m also thankful for HUGE changes in my business (and life for that matter).

And by huge, I mean going from this….

Yup.  This girl is changing her photography name. :) With divorce comes change, and change means changing my name back to my maiden name.  Being that my photography business included my married name, I have decided it’s time for a change.  BIG change.

With this change comes different options, packages, etc.  New Facebook fan page! Everything new!  So in December I will be putting together my Facebook fan page so I will need your help in getting everyone to like it and become fans!  Starting in January new pricing will go into effect (think affordable!!!) and February the website will be relaunched with the new name. :)

I know! Big changes right?!  I love it!!!!

Lansing MS Spring Bazaar *Events*

I had the pleasure of having a booth at the 1st annual Spring Bazaar to help raise money for the Lansing Middle School graduation party.  I was so excited. This was my first ever photography booth.  For sure a learning experience, but worth every moment.  Thank you to everyone who stopped by!   I hope you enjoyed visiting with myself, Renee of FouCAKES, Vicki of Beyond the Bloom (website coming soon!!!) and Alicia of Off the Chain Jewelry!

This past weekend I was super busy.  Like – awesome busy.  Ben and I decided to re-arrange our living room and then it hit me – my first photo booth was next weekend (well technically it’s this weekend but I was thinking on Saturday…It’s Tuesday…).  I had so much to do!! So I created everything.  From books, to wallet boxes (new product!!!), and a sign.   Yes.  A sign.  I was going to just gallery wrap my new logo (cleaver – showing a gallery wrap product but use it as my sign.  Genius I know), but then I got to thinking – why not display one of my favorite photos?!  Which is that you may ask?! Well it’s this one:

I have been in love with this entire wedding since I captured it last June in Oahu, Hawaii.  I cannot wait to proudly display it at my booth on Saturday.

With that being said – come visit me Saturday in Lansing, Kansas!  I will be at Lansing Middle School from 9 am until 6 pm (well I have a photo session from 10:30 to 11 so – I might not be there right then! HA!) signing up one lucky winner of a free family session and giving out info regarding future sessions!! I’m so excited!  Oh and while you’re there, book your wedding cake vendor (Renee with FouCAKES – A-MAZING!) and/or book your little girl’s birthday party (Vicki with Beyond the Bloom – C-UTE stuff!!!).

And here’s one for the road – Duncan woke up at 12:30 knowing I wanted a photo of the moon.  He’s a smart kid…

It’s that time of year again.  It’s time to book your 2011 session, wedding, etc.!  My calendar is ready and waiting to add your session, so book now!  Mention this blog posting (and comment below!) and get 25% photo credit and $20 off your session fee! With this package, you will receive a 1-2 hour sessions for the following months: newborn, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months and 12 months.  That’s a great deal!
